The memories made over the last weekend were enough to leave a deep imprint on the heart of Koira Winthrope. Weeks ago, she would have never believed anyone capable of taking her heart and running off with it. She was much too focused on herself and her research to even consider it.
The uppermost level of the Stormwind tower was full of those heavily immersed in their studies. It was early in the week, and at the peek of the noon hour - a group of eager scholars had made their way up into the tower to get started with their lessons.
Getting use to traveling back and forth between the tower and Stormwind, Crystah found that her friendship with Koira Winthrope had not only filled a small void in her life - but it had given the cleric a new area to use her skills effectively. Over the last several months, the woman had come to find that the world around her was moving in such a quick pace and that she was never anywhere for as long as she had initially planned.
(And the final post for the Lakefire Coalition story. Here, we say - The End.)
Like everything that had flowed its course along the rivers of time and met its natural end, the Lakefire Coalition had served its purpose. Through the eyes of its one creator, Asharri Lakefire, its purpose had met a beginning, a middle, and finally, its end.
Located in the peninsula south-west of Silverpine Forest, Gilneas awaited Asharri from the distance. It was a dreary piece of land where the rain seemed to fall endlessly from the gray skies. Though her elven eyesight was unquestionable, it was rather difficult to see the crumbling walls through the thick fog that settled in over the battlefront.
Along the northern coast of Quel'Thalas, a lone tree stood proudly on top of a grassy hill. Seemingly untouched by the ravages of time, the golden foliage continued to hold onto its full bloom; swaying gracefully with the breeze as if they were in dance. It wasn't a tall tree by any means and compared to its many siblings that made up Eversong, there wasn't anything truly special or remarkable about it.
Sending a handful of her crew into Kalimdor, Asharri knew that the best way to break Bal'Kathar Summersteel into his leadership duties was to have him meet them head on. And so, his first mission would be picked up in Ratchet, handed over by Tovi Dregknob herself. Asharri knew that the goblin was rather fascinated with the guy anyway, and wouldn't argue his skills one bit. This pleased the Coalition head greatly. Even if on some level, disturbed her.
