FISH HOOK and EMPTY HEAD
33: Training in colors
I did not have to learn many things when I became a knight. How to fight. How to obey. I did not learn languages, I just knew how to speak them. Scourge, orcish, thalassian. A few words of common and darnassian. I did not have to learn any thinking-things.
Tonight I did.
32: Heading North
((Tonight Haken's usually perfect handwriting is anything but. The writing is larger than usual and sloppy. The paper is smudged with blackish blood, and one edge of the page is fully stained with it.))
Hurts to write.
Light's Hope is bad place to fight. Alliance was there. Death gripped it to me. Dozen guards jumped me. Before I could swing once, they had me down. Hurt. Everything gone black.
How many times Mornherald told me about that?
I hurt.
31: At least a rabbit didn't kiss me
I went to Silvermoon to buy some honey. I wanted pineapple, but there wasn't one for sale. On my way to the city, I picked up my mail. I had many letters.
Tisho wrote me. I showed Mornherald the letters. He said I no longer had to find him a new senior.
22: I am rotting. And perhaps cooked.
Death Knights belong in Northrend. In the cold. In snow. The first half of today I spent in a jungle. The second half in a desert.
I smell. I am rotting. I ache.
But we found my former junior. I do not know why, but he was in the desert. In the sun.
Tomorrow I will find a new senior for him. I have followed Mornherald's orders.
16: Being a senior makes me feel strange things
It is strange to be a senior. My junior had trained hard before coming to me, so I did not send him to kill more things. I asked him if he would follow orders tonight. He agreed, so I did not have to rid myself of him. I took him to Light's Hope to talk.
15: I went to Northrend today and heard nothing
This morning while picking flowers, I heard a voice calling to me from above. I do not like picking flowers, even if I need them to make pigments to make ink, so I looked up. I listened. There was a goblin telling me I could go to Northrend. For a moment I thought he was able to read my thoughts. How could he have known I was thinking about Northrend and Him? I stopped picking and went up to see.
