Tisho
Thadric Journal Thirty Two
I'm not cut out for life in the big city. I'm getting too old these sorts of things... On my last days in Stormwind, I got in a fight with a gibbled demon over the Light (which they hilariously, ironically worship), had to use my powers to hold back some Night Elf's pain while we surgically removed a dagger from her throat, had to explain to Meida why people don't like Forsaken, informed Meida that Forsaken EAT PEOPLE because Meida DIDN'T KNOW, and spoke to a dead man who also has no cheek and is married to a gorgeous living woman. I don't get this place. Not one bit.

Now that they are settled in one area again, Tisho and Penumbral are able to visit with others more readily. They still have much to do that will require them to travel once more, and one day, Tisho hopes they can go back to that. For now, he's content to stay in the familiar area of the plagued and elven lands, trying to fulfill his promises to Meridawn.
Thadric Journal Twenty Six
Back from vacation with Tezzy. Might write about that some other day. Went to house, dug up the whole yard. Found a buried box that wasn't on the map. It's lighter than all the others. I'm scared to open it, considering all the others were lies and silly fairy tales that didn't even make any sense. Wanted to go into basement, too afraid. I'm so frustrated. I'm so frustrated at her, at myself, at everything. I'm going to Silvermoon.

Hillsbrad -- day 6

They traveled halfway across the continent of Kalimdor in order for Tisho to receive a letter. Later, he finds it hilarious. They are dead, and there are plenty of means to ensure their words read their destination unread, and yet... He had to climb mountains, race across barren grasslands, and journey very close to the edge of the world just to receive these words.
It was worth every step.

Azshara -- day 5

After the Quiet green elf place, Tisho has the idea of finding other elf places for Penny's sake. The only one he knows about, and thus the first one to come to mind, is Feralas. He suggests it with more eagerness than he has for actually going there. The last time he had been in Feralas, his heart had been clawed at by careless words and elf ideas. Those ideas had sunk their roots in deep.

Booty Bay, Stranglethorn Vale -- day 4
-
[letter / log] One Little Slip
One of the first things Tisho does once he and Penumbral arrive in Booty Bay is to seek out the mailbox. He finds only one note, from Larkspur, which pleases him greatly - enough that he hoots in delight, ears wiggling, and holds it up triumphantly for his favorite brother to see.
"Larkspur words!" he declares unnecessarily. Then, because he fully remembers the last time he let Penny get ahold of Lark's note, he adds in a more serious tone, "...Tisho keeps. Eats. Penny has other words."
Year 3: Advance
Letter-writing, again. It's been a long time--a couple of months, maybe, which is a long time relative to how he measures things, thinking in insect lifespans, disease lifespans, lifespans of days and weeks and months, not years and decades and centuries--since he's occasioned to take up a quill and write. He still doesn't enjoy the task any more for having not done it for all that time, but it eats up the hours while Meridas is trying to sleep and it keeps him from worse habits.

Undercity, Tirisfal Glades -- day 3
-
For whatever reason, Penumbral had insisted that they take a break from their Purpose in the jungle. He had used the all powerful 'wish' word and urged Tisho onto the zeppelin to Undercity.

The rumor's going around that the Lich King is dead.
The Lich King Is Dead. I still don't believe it.
Of course that rumor goes around once a month, but it's going around different this time.
45: Story Circle report
[A piece of paper is left on their bed in their house. It has been folded and unfolded, and is somewhat wrinkled and dirty. The note is written in Haken's tiny, perfect handwriting.]
Mornherald-favorite.
These are the stories that were told tonight. I obey.

Tisho.
Mornherald and I live in a house. We have a dog, a rat, and a parrot. They are all good animals. We will teach the parrot to talk. The rat is clever. Dog is a good dog. If you will not hurt the animals, I would have you come see our house.
I have learned how to paint glyphs. If I put one on your armor, you will fight better or be hurt less. I would paint one for you, if you come.
Thadric Journal Twenty Four / Five
Today I discovered that I am a slightly unfortunate person.
Three of the four unfortunate things that happened to me today happened together. First, I found out that Vry'Kul are almost impossible to soothe psychicly, because they're most soothed when they're crushing Thadric Bender's face. My job has become considerably harder now that I'm aware of this.

I like it here.
I like the company.
I like not needing to go around in armor and weapons to feel safe.
I like having a proper address.
I spent the first whole day in Ratchet. I thought I'd be sitting alone like a toad on a log but I found Tisho in the city, first, and we talked and I invited him over and
