The first thing one may notice about the Sin'dorei before them is that she is rather petite for her race, standing several inches below the average female. Despite this, she holds herself tall and with the confidence that many of her kind are raised to possess.
The next thing one might notice is her apparel, which is usually overly armoured for the occasion. Her main garb is a purple, white, and silver battle-skirt with a comically oversized, spiked bulwark of a similar colour. She is also seen often in a white, gold, and black battle-skirt with pauldrons that crackle with electricity. Occasionally she will be seen in robes of various colour or a uniform of the Bloodsail Pirates (looking very uncomfortable without a shield, mind you).
Evalain's hair, parted to the right, falls in dark red waves down slightly past the middle of her back, curling at the ends; shorter locks frame her face. This is not her natural hair colour, and sometimes one may find a few stray strands of light blonde should they look carefully enough. When she fights it is tied into a rough ponytail or it becomes a risk to her safety. Poking out from the curls are longer than average ears, adorned with 3 piercings on either side. Upon more careful observation one might notice scarred tears and holes in the area.
Pale green eyes are generally wide open, observing her immediate surroundings carefully. They may find a person, stare unnervingly at them for a long while, blink a few times and then pass to the next thing. Between them sits a long nose with a straight bridge, tilting up only slightly at the tip. Lips are occasionally pulled into a Cheshire grin which is a little too wide to call normal, but her expression is mostly stoic. When it is, one might notice the bottom lip is significantly larger than the top. Her face in general is very elongated but still soft, and never coated in any kind of make-up.
Lain's physique is signature of a melee fighter, being a Paladin for most of her life and training as a warrior before that. She has been practicing as a healer now for many many years (more than she cares to admit), but her muscles still get plenty of exercise from doing most of her work in the thick of the battle. Her thighs and arms are broad and firm with muscle and a bit of feminine bodyweight that she doesn't bother to lose. In terms of the bust, Lain sits around a modest C that is usually hidden behind plate armour. She takes very good care of her body, calling it 'her temple', and doesn't drink or smoke any sort of harmful substances. She also does not prefer to be in the company of those who are doing such things.
Being a fighter, and a living being in general, Lain is not void of scarrings or blemishes. Her arms, legs, and chest are always full of them and occasionally her face will have a deep gash across it in some form or another. There is one faint scar going right across her neck, a wound inflicted by a dagger long ago. The rest of her scarrings would not be visible unless she were unclothed (If you find out where these are, it will be during RP, and is very unlikely.)
On Lain's left ring-finger sits a gold band with a glowing purple gem atop it. If one were knowledgable in such things, they may recognize it as a warlock's soul shard.
Lastly, though Lain may be a Paladin, this does not mean she is necessarily holy or pious. Once upon a time she was, mostly out of overcompensation, but recently has come into her own skin. Lain is a vengeful woman, who has preferred to take her revenge or do any killing contracts by merely assisting those who swing the actual blows.
