The vast majority of Ornasse's long life has been spent in the Emerald Dream, in the service of Ysera. As with most druids, he awoke from time to time, particularly to serve in various battles. While he followed a more feral path in his youth, Ornasse's talents lie primarily in healing.
During the War of the Shifting Sands, he served under Fandral Staghelm, and met a Sentinel with whom he would strike up an intense -- if brief -- affair. He returned to the Dream, not knowing that he would soon be a father.
Recently, Ornasse awoke to a world entirely different than he one he had known, the night elves having allied themselves with the strange races of the Eastern Kingdoms. He finds them hasty and foolish, humans in particular, though the draenei have grudgingly earned his respect after he spent some years on Draenor with the Cenarion Expedition.
It was on Draenor that his daughter, now grown, was able to locate him with the aid of information from the Cenarion Circle. He agreed to aid in her studies as a druid, sensing her potential in spite of her gender. Ornasse aims to build a relationship with Tathariel, though their relations are sometimes strained.
Following the events of the Cataclysm, Ornasse heeded Malfurion's call to aid Hyjal, and has worked tirelessly to aid in the Firelord's defeat. He and his new mate, the Priestess Kelanori, have retired to Feralas with their infant son, Farahlor.
