In-Game Chat Channels for Roleplayers
Looking to get in on the Wyrmrest Accord RP community scene? There are quite a few great public channels for roleplayers on this server, both IC and OOC. Thanks go to Seriau for compiling this list.
Alliance chat channels:
- /join wranet - An OOC channel for the members of wyrmrestaccord.net. *** This channel is not moderated. Attend at your own risk. ***
- /join OOC - This channel is for friendly OOC chat for RPers on Alliance.
- /join OOC2 - An alternate OOC chat for RPers on Alliance.
- /join kalimdor - An OOC networking chat channel for Kalimdor RPers Alliance side - Night Elves, Draenei, Theramore humans, and so on. (Added 3/24/2010)
- /join RP - An IC channel that takes place in an un-named bar in Booty Bay.
- /join WARP - An alternate IC channel.
- /join gnomerp - Gnomes and their alts welcome here.
- /join WorldRP - Another OOC channel on Alliance.
- /join Hearthstone - An IC chat channel through enchanted Hearthstones for adventurers and the like.
- /join APCP - An OOC channel to discuss the Alliance Player City Project!
- /join bookclub - for those who wish to work on the achievement "Higher Learning" to share locations of the Dalaran books.
- /join Gnome - where all the cool kids.. er... gnomes hang out.
- /join WorgenWhatnots - An OOC channel for people interested in worgen
- Druid only channel, send in-game mail to Aima for channel name.
Horde chat channels:

- /join WRAZandalar - An OOC channel catering to Troll roleplayers. (Added 2/3/2010)
- /join bmfa - IC channel to contact faire members for whatever: jobs... information on shows... sh*ts and giggles. Radio contact, not location.
- /join OldHorde - An OOC channel for roleplay networking between Tauren, Troll, and Orc characters.
- /join WinterswornHQ - The headquarter of the Wintersworn Company located in the Lagerdemain Lounge, Dalaran. Come here if you have a job that needs to be done but not the manpower to do it.
- /join bookclub - for those who wish to work on the achievement "Higher Learning" to share locations of the Dalaran books.
- /join WorldRP - an OOC channel for finding RP
- /join OldSchool - a channel for finding pre-BC raids
- /join Horde - world defense channel

I think she just took track of channels she found. I don't believe she created her own channels.

There's a druid only channel on both sides but we don't publish the channel name. So if you want to add it I guess it would read:
Alliance: "Druid only channel, send in-game mail to Owakerin for channel name"
Horde: "Druid only channel, send in-game mail to Owakeri for channel name"

Alliance side, I am working on getting some server wide RP goodness going. Channel is WARP (Wymrest Accord RP).
Added to the list. Any additional information about it? Does it take place in a specific location, etc.?
Its an OOC channel, dedicated to getting more of the players on WA to get to know each other, an RP together. I've been contacting guilds and individuals, and hopefully get some more RP partners.

Maybe we need to change "Lagerdemain IC" into "WinterswornHQ". It should attract more attention toward us.

Mishawee, if we could get the WildrunnersDepot channel updated, that has since changed to "TheDepot" for both Wildrunners and Darkdusk Industries.

You can add Lindiwe as a contact to the druid chat channel, which we try to keep IC btw.
