Hey all, don't know if this topic's been broached or not. If it has (I didn't -see- it in a sticky, doesn't mean I didn't miss it though), mods please just trash this thread.
I find that one of the best ways to keep in touch with WoW-friends is through an IMer, personally, I prefer gtalk (link to my email, too).

I finally got around to getting Gtalk, since I'm not a fan of handing out my AIM name. I use my gmail for spam and WoW-specific stuff anyhow, so it worked out alright.

However I'm almost always on AIM. My screen name is biam blazer. Yeah, that's an "i" in "biam". Yeah it's an old The Slayers reference. :D
I use the add-on WoW Instant Messenger now, to keep better track of my tells in game. I highly recommend it to all WoW players who use tells/whispers a lot. It makes RP, PVE and PVP a LOT easier to focus on.
