You are well into your twilight years and you feel for a good story but your eyes cannot withstand the strains of the written word. Standing in front of an immense bookcase you spy what looks like a rusty,dented mechanical squirrel that sits silently on the shelf.

A card beside the metal rodent reads:

"This gnomish mechanical squirrel has been retro-fitted with a voice rekordifikator module. It once belonged to Tadaah Sawtekk of Westfall, whom,alas, has gone beyond the Spirit Healer, may she rest in peace. Turn it on and enjoy, all entries are in chronological order, and please return it here to its proper place once you are done."
