[A] The western Plaguelands

An aging Knight of the silver hand, wearing a mismatched array of platemail, leather, and a dusty old travel cloak stands atop the cathedral steps. He leans on the haft of his mighty warhammer as he looks out over the crowd. His powerful voice booms loud over the gathered crowd of priests, paladins, and various worshipers of the light. "Brothers and sisters, hear me. I am Theodin Rhall of Lordaeron, and a bring you disturbing news. Long has it been since cities like Andorhal fell to the scourge, and while many of us toil daily in an effort to rid those lands of the wretched scourge who inhabit a once proud city, still they remain! Travelers cannot easily visit Lord Uther's tomb, because the pathway is littered with bloodthirsty ghouls, and abominations!"

The old man looks out over the crowd, looking each man and woman in the eye. "With the Argent Crusade in Northrend, taking the fight to the Lich King's doorstep, we are in dire need of brave men and women in our own lands. Brothers and sisters, I call upon you now, to aid us in taking the first steps in making these lands safe once more. Who among you will answer the call?" He pauses for a long moment, studying the faces of the people gathered.

"I know that many of you once lived in the old lands of Lordaeron, and when the scourge came, so many were forced to flee, leaving precious possessions and memories behind... By the Light I swear to you on this day, we shall make these lands safe for you to return and gather such possessions and memories. Join me in visiting the Lightbringer's tomb, where we shall pray for the strength and courage to carry out this task."

Friday, January 8th at 7PM, we are going to be cleaning out the scourge in Andorhal after making a trip to Uther's tomb. We will be joined by several members of other guilds, and all are welcome to join us. Bring your RP gear, and your favorite Light abiding characters. This will be a great opportunity to grind some Argent Dawn rep as well.

Starts: 7pm Realm Time at Chillwind Point. Meet at the Argent Dawn camp. We will make our introductions, and proceed to Uther's tomb after clearing the cemetery of any scourge. Following that, we will make our way to Andorhal, and remain there until all remaining scourge have been wiped out. (I'd like to see some characters who like Rhall, may have lived in Andorhal at some point, as this will provide some great RP potential.)

Ends: We will be making our way through Andorhal, and just about every part of the western plaguelands. The event will not end until 12am Realm Time, which gives any late night players ample opportunity to take part.
