[Draft] (Alliance) The Autumn Leaf Society

Guild Description

The Autumn Leaf Society is a peaceful community of like minded individuals for the path to a simplistic and happy lifestyle in harmony with the natural world. Many members of the Society observe the philosophical teachings of the guild's leader (Iroh Stillwater), while others are merely temporary visitors seeking to alleviate themselves from the social world. A very druid oriented organization, the Autumn Leaf Society spends a large amount of time within different forests, learning the metaphors of coexisting with nature. Many people come to the Society, seeking it's (As well as Iroh's) guidance and council on their personal affairs.

To go further in depth, it's essentially a social Heavy RP guild. It will typically take place in a secluded 'guild housing' oriented location, but feature quite a bit of in field traveling RP. Together the guild will work towards finding pacifistic solutions to people's, as well as Azeroth's problems. Along the way they will grow together in humble happiness, a constant quested lifestyle for the majority of Iroh's life. As a well versed druid, Iroh originally became fond of speaking with students when he took time to train a small amount of druid students. Since then he has been growing an interest in sharing his thoughts with 'students', and bringing joy to Azeroth's people. Guild chat will be in character, taking place within the guild residence hall. There will be a channel created for OOC purposes.

Events

I've been trying to consider what events can be done to keep things interesting. A large number of 'dinner party' style events are intended to be hosted, to promote social RP and the guild itself. All will be welcome for the free meals, and they will have mini events within them such as Storytelling, games, and frankly whatever others bring to the table. There are probably going to be a few pilgrimages, particularly for the druid members of the guild. This is something I still intend to flesh out.

Characters

Iroh will leave the Society's doors open to almost any individual who is truthfully seeking this environment. That being said, he does take into consideration and priority the comfort and safety of his members, and will take action against individuals who disrupt the balance. While I can say the guild is mostly druid focused, that's really more of an in character attitude. I urge anybody to try and participate, because I think this can be something that's adaptable and can last quite a while.

Setting

I've not exactly determined a particular location for this, as it's still in draft format. I would love most for it to be in Night Elf territory, but that may make it a bit awkward for other members of the alliance to travel to in character. I'd love suggestions on this. I have to keep in consideration Iroh's priorities for things to make most sense, and his priorities are absolutely in his homelands. The guild housing will more than likely not be an in game structure, as guild chat is the main vehicle for roleplaying there.

Ranks (TBD)

I haven't put any thought into ranks yet. It's probably going to be something related to the stages of plant growth. Iroh doesn't necessarily believe in rank, but he does want a way to illustrate people's different places on their own "paths". So my concept right now is something like Seed, Sprout, Sapling, Barkskin, Elder Tree.

Please do recall this is merely a draft in progress. I haven't even entirely decided I will be doing this. More importantly I just wanted to get a reaction from the community.
