Northrend Roleplay

Niami lives in Dalaran and flies around Northrend on her business often!

Quite a bit goes on in Dalaran.  I have a few characters that live there, and a few others that travel there fairly frequently.  Outside the city, I haven't heard of anything that goes on on a regular basis, although I could be wrong.

I think if I ever make another straight out human, I might make her permanent home in Grizzly Hills (I'm half tempted to do that with the worgen druid I've been neglecting).

Partly because that's my favorite music in the game, and partly because it would be neat (though a tad lonely) to RP as a settler there.

If I use my worgen, there's also the added stigma of the rather nasty events that had happened there during WOTLK. It should make for some interesting RP.

I loooooove Northrend, especially Grizzly Hills and Howling Fjord. I'd love to RP there and Outland more often.

Northrend is my favorite. Which is odd, since I detest the cold... BUT. I could totally fabricate a reason for a character to be somewhere cold and unpleasant.

Idle Hands has been doing stuff there for a while!

Maybe we can hunt mammoths, finally.

As a not-yet-Canadian I find this offensive.

There are not nearly enough burly men with beards and flannel shirts chopping wood outside of my window. Not nearly enough.

I mean I understand the need and I'm not a hippy, but seeing them fall, just makes me sad.  :(

I totally love Northrend, simply because of the beauty of the land,and the whole viking influence <3

For Alliance, there's a great little house in Fort Wildervar that's empty except for one NPC, it has a fireplace and a second floor and everything. I haven't found any similar for Horde (yet).

As mentioned, a LOT of RP goes on in Dalaran. My mage lives there, and I see folks RPing every night I'm on him.

I'm leveling my belf priest there now, so I'll keep on the look out for possible Horde hide-outs.

There's an RP guild I have heard of that RP's almost exclusively in Howling Fjord in a settlement capacity. The Northern Coalition, I believe it's called.

Well, what happened is that we loved NR, Westguard Keep (HF) but we figured out after a few months of dedicated Rp that unless the guild attempting to survive out there in the frozen wastelands is a large and very active guild.. living out there full time doesn't work out very well.  We attempted to host constant events for our members which only ended up in burning them out. See, what they missed (me too) was the everyday simple RP and the randoms you meet along the way. Which turns out is what 100% of us thrive off of! Random Rp. SO! Northern Coalition is now House Sunshield. : ) Back somewhere near SW And you should be seeing a lot more of us around now.

As for RP out there.. its an awesome place and hosting events out there is fun! Kinda with the mindset.. great place to visit.. wouldn't want to live there. (for us anyway)

That one mountain on the border of Howling Fjord and grizzly hills is so much fun to Hike ICly. Be fun to travel across the Stormpeaks as well. Maybe after a airship crash.
