Character Biography

Physical Appearance

Atna has ashen skin and drawn features as a result of the months between his initial death and his subsequent raising. His body is laced with scars, but one very prominent one features along the left side of his torso -- probably the injury which did him in. His hair used to be black, and worn tied back, though, much like his skin, Atna's hair has been discolored while dead. It is now a stark, sickly white color, and tends to be kept shorter and messy. His eyes are ice blue, with a slight glow, much like the rest of his undead kin.

Atna is of fairly muscular build, and was considered decently attractive before his death. his withered and gaunt features have done some to detract from this, however. He is most often seen wearing fairly common clothing, usually a dark linen shirt left partially open, and simple pants and leather boots. He has been known (when the mood strikes) to wear nicer silks in place of his common shirts -- though practical often wins out.

History

Before his raising, Atna was a soldier in the service of the Argent dawn. He served in the plaguelands, doing his all to beat back the advances of the scourge. He survived many close calls, though fell shortly after Naxxramas' departure to the waves on undead which accompanied the attacking necropolises.

Fast forward five months. Atna was raised by the Lich King at Acherus. His will largely not his own, he embraced his new powers and committed terrible atrocities in Arthas' name. He, among with the surviving knights from Acherus, were freed from Arthas' control at the battle of Light's Hope, and now had to face the reality of what they had done, and what he had become.

Atna is now, along with his lover, Pamina Calidon, one of the masters of the Crimson Lotus, a group which, reportedly, does not exist.

Personality

Atna prides himself on being calm and collected most of the time, and, while quiet, he can be quite friendly, and even charming. However, he has a bit of a dark streak, which manifests itself in a sardonic sense of humor.
