Personality

Helthir values his pride, his duty, and his place in the world. He will do, or put up with, a lot to maintain any of those. However, he also has a very strong protective instinct. He hates seeing other people in trouble, especially if he knows them personally, and even if he doesn't particularly like them. Ironically, when it comes to the choice between which trait he values the most, he will choose the latter nearly every time, though in speaking to him it's not always evident. He doesn't like having to depend on others and sees it a sign of his own incapability.

An introvert, Helthir often needs the help of others to have anything approaching fun in life. He also appears to be almost incurably awkward. It's kind of sad.
