Character Biography

Physical Appearance

Nak is an angular woman, pointed chin, the line of her jaw feeling into the angle that her ears point behind her. Sharp eyes, sharp nose, sharp contrast. Her dark hair and darkly painted lips play off of porcelain white skin.

Once the picture of flawless beauty, she's taken some damage that's beginning to show. Her right eye is missing, replaced by a glass ball that's one part arcane battery (Thanks to the Consortium) and one part mechanical gears. Whatever took her eye left an explosion of small scars around her cheek and eyebrow. On her left shoulder is a dagger scar, and now there are two scars through the palm and back of her hand, as if she'd been stabbed clean through.

If she's in leather armor, generally it will be more along the skin tight black sneaking leather variety, not made for strength as much as speed and agility. If she's in anything skirted, it's almost always intended to be ceremonial rather then functional. She will almost always have an eye patch on, and is generally carrying a reforged Quel'Dorei fragment. No matter what she's wearing, she's likely to have her favorite thigh high black leather boots.

She's a hair shorter then average, and is made for speed and mobility. Her frame is more of a compact build, with slender hips, and slender muscles.

Despite all her scarring, despite her armor, she still wears full makeup, and has perfect manicures and pedicures. A woman can't give up everything after all...

History

Anything included here would be readily able to be found out if someone were wanting to research Nak's Past. I'm going to try to organize this by time line:

Nakreyya was born as a lesser daughter of House Wyrmsong. She's the third, and youngest, daughter. House Wyrmsong has talented Magisters as a part of their ranks, however - Nakreyya was not one of them! It's taken her ages to even get her Arcane Torrent to work right, and even then it only gives her a burst of Energy, she can't deflect it into spells or anything. (There's a reason she took up Engineering...) Even her eyes glow a little more dimly then other Elves, it helps her when she's skulking the shadows...

She was trained from a young age in the arts of Information Gathering, Seduction, Music, Art, and Dance. She was a perfect Ambassador to Stormwind (when the Humans were still their allies) on account of her charming good looks, and the fact that her complete lack of magical skill tended to set Humans at ease. She was the ultimate non-threatening presence, no real combat skills, generally stoned out of her mind on Blood Thistle.

Nakreyya was set into an arranged marriage right before the attack on Silvermoon, and the betrayal of the Humans. By all outward accounts, she acted completely pissed about being in an arranged marriage, simply because it cramped her party-friendly style. There are a great many reports of her, however, at his funeral, sobbing into the shoulder of her father.

About a decade or so, ago, somewhere in the history, Nakreyya's name ceased being written as Nakreyya Wyrmsong, and began to be written as Nakreyya Valheellinen Bloodivy. There is little on file as to why or what or how, save some very lame sounding excuses about her being a third cousin of a second daughter or some such.

The leap into House Bloodivy vaulted her into great Noble Power in Silvermoon. She was exactly what they wanted her to be. Nicknamed by many of the Blood Knights as the Ice Princess, she was written to be cold and unfeeling. She followed orders unfailingly, catching the attention of Orthello Bloodraven, then in charge of the Beautiful Society.

With induction into their ranks, she was introduced to many of the greatest minds and most influential people in Silvermoon. She seemed to care for nothing, except getting ahead. Though - there are reports that she was dating a man named Oasis Welkin... (Later reports indicated he cheated on her, seeming to coincide with a time when she was absent from Silvermoon for months.)

The turning point for her was when Orthello decided to make an attempt on Magister Charir's life. For reasons that were never really written down or documented, she decided to get in the way of the attack. In his anger, Orthello stabbed her through the shoulder. Her recovery was expedited by Oasis and Masreon, who pulled her back into the safety of Silvermoon and patched up her wounds.

Seeing the faults on Orthello's path and afraid that she would end up like Orthello, she started to test the waters of meeting other races. Thrall took a liking to her, and made her a Diplomat for the Horde. As part of her aforementioned absence from Silvermoon, she ended up in Orgrimmar. One of the Troll Rogues there began to teach her how to fight. As a result, when in combat, Nakreyya has less of the tall, haughty Blood Elf stance, and has more of a low to the ground, Capoeira style to her movements.

Her Troll combat instructor was the one who gifted her with her first mechanical eye patch - thus introducing her to the field of technology. (He'd gotten it from a Goblin and never trusted the thing. He figured it was better with an Elf.)

Rumor has it that upon her return to Silvermoon, she was arrested. Any information on the charges of her arrest have not been made public. Any casual inquiry on the topic to a Blood Knight will net nothing more then "Terms were struck". Nàkreyya was released within two weeks of her initial arrest. ((For any further inquiries - please feel free to ask))

She got involved with the Jester Mystery a little more then a year ago, and during part of the investigation a Vote of No Confidence was lodged against her, when the then leader of the Ninth Regiment decided that her involvement was unhealthy. She's since battled with her Ambassador status with Silvermoon City, being a sort of on again, off again Ambassador - though Thrall never wavered in his decision that she should be a Diplomat of the Horde.

Nak is something of a renegade these days. Nobles regard her a social Pariah (though rarely to her face). She's seen frequently in Northrend hobnobbing with the major adventuring guilds out there, and ensuring that their mail is seen safely back home.

For a brief stint recently, Nak was away from Silvermoon - and indeed absent from all of the Horde lands. Any inquiries into where she went would always be met with different answers, depending on who was asked. Silvermoon City thought she was in Orgrimmar, Orgrimmar thought she was in Dalaran, Dalaran thought she was in Thunder Bluff, etc. Wherever she'd been, she'd been there awhile, and she'd been changed.

Upon her return to Silvermoon City, she had a new eye patch, and she seemed to be missing the eye.

Very recent rumors will say that her Butler was brutally murdered in her own home. Anyone in the know would link it to the existing Jester issue, for which Nak never bothered to file a resolution.

Outwardly, and if she's never been met before; she would come off at Haughty and unkind. There's a lot behind her eyes though, she's constantly watching, constantly evaluating.
