Procrastin
Character Biography
- Physical Appearance
Procrastin is very tall and quite slender. He is approximately thirty five years old and has, much to his dismay, silver-gray hair. He is relatively handsome by most standards despite his prematurely gray hair, and keeps his beard is meticulously trimmed and tidy. He almost always wears robes made out of fine materials and keeps them as clean and tidy as his facial hair. He, however, seems to look down on the world with arrogance behind his blue-gray eyes.
- History
Procrastin was born and raised on a farm in Westfall. He was the only child of simple farmers, but despite their lack of other children, when Procrastin expressed an interest in going to Stormwind instead of carrying on the family farm, his parents were completely supportive. In Stormwind he developed an interest in the law, worked for the courts, and eventually became a lawyer handling minor inheritance, contract disputes, and other mundane matters, regardless of the none-to-glamorous nature of his work, he very much enjoyed his job.
In Stormwind, Procrastin also fell in love with the woman of his dreams. A saint of a lady, who was training to become a paladin, by the name of Kairie. They both believed in justice with all their hearts, believed in the good of humanoid kind, and knew that Azeroth would some day be a beautiful place where justice prevailed and evil was stamped out of existence.
The couple planned their wedding, just knowing they were destined to be together forever. But a week before the wedding day Kairie fell ill while the couple visited friends in Westfall. It wasn’t the plague or any kind of poison, it was just a simple fever which everyone was sure she would recover from by their wedding day. Unfortunately Kairie’s fever was worse than anyone realized, and in a dream-induced haze wandered out of her room in the middle of the night.
Procrastin was frantic when he discovered his beloved fiancé missing. He and his neighbors searched all throughout the night. The weather was icy cold and pouring rain. The clouds blocked out virtually all the moon and star light to be had making the search even harder. They finally found Kairie’s body in the morning, hidden in tall grass no more than a quarter mile from the house, frozen to death in her nightgown. Procrastin was devastated.
After Kairie’s death Pro vanished. He wandered Azeroth without a single word to his friends or loved ones for almost ten years. His disappearance was so complete, most who knew him assumed he’s simply killed himself, which in truth he very nearly did. Instead he just slowly developed a hatred for everyone and everything. He dabbled in new trades ranging from swordsmanship to fel magic before he finally noticed his knack for the arcane. He eventually began a quest for power, and attached himself to the coat tails of his now lover Auroran as a result. But what happened there is a long story, the truth of which few get to hear.

- Personality
Procrastin is abrasive, mean, sarcastic, and quick to anger. He is extremely proud of his intellect and magical capabilities, and can often be quite arrogant as a result, even if those who know him better realize he’s a complete and utter nerd with a huge soft spot for strange and unpleasant wildlife. He, for obvious reasons, has trouble making friends, but once someone has been deemed his friend he is fiercely loyal, even if said friend is unaware that Pro even likes him or her. Procrastin’s tendency to be as rude and cruel to his friends as he is to his enemies occasionally makes it difficult to tell who he actually likes.
Procrastin possesses a strange, twisted form of logic which can make his actions and re-actions seem sporadic and irrational to those who do not know him well. Actually, his actions can seem bizarre even to those who DO know him well. This logic leads to a more or less generalized hatred of everyone which can lead to him mercilessly berating strangers and friends alike for almost no reason at all. But, at least some people find his way with insults amusing.
Despite how mean and obnoxious Procrastin can be, or perhaps because of it, he can also be extremely manipulative. Just because he prefers to be an asshole doesn’t mean he’s incapable of turning up the charm when he needs to. If you catch him at the right time, in the right mood, or he wants something from you, he can be a perfect gentleman. It’s just rare.
He also hates frost mages.
A lot.
