Character Biography

Physical Appearance

Senkha Fuoco is largely average in appearance--average height, average weight--with her most startling features being her pale skin and jet black hair. Her eyes are a pretty typical warm brown, and she has dimples that show rather blatantly whenever she smiles. Senkha is attractive, but not outstandingly gorgeous. When she is wearing the right (or perhaps wrong) kinds of clothes, a variety of scars are visible, the largest scar being on her right side, wrapping around to her upper back.

When working or traveling through dangerous places, Senkha typically wears the standard issue Alliance armor, with a hood pulled over her hair and a visor concealing her face. When not working or traveling, she wears her hair loosely about her shoulders and displays her fondness for fancy robes and shoes. Regardless of whether she's in her leather armor or a fancy dress, she always wears a necklace made of wood and bones with a frost wyrm tooth as a charm. The necklace seems to be of vrykul make.

She speaks with a distinctive Lordaeron accent, though she hasn't lived there in almost ten years, and always seems a bit chilly. Those who stand close enough will notice that she smells lightly of roses, when not wearing her leather clothes, and of sweat and well cared-for leather when she is.

You may know or know of her if...

...you've had dinner or drinks at Theramore's Inn in the last five years, though you might get her somewhat confused with her twin sister Selvaggia. They're much easier to tell apart once you've had conversations with them: Selvaggia is outspoken and kind of a jerk, while Senkha is a great deal more diplomatic and friendly.

...you lived in or traveled through Andorhal before the Plague came.

...you were a Dalarani mage or lived in Dalaran before the Plague came. Senkha's parents were both Dalaran mages before they settled down to have a family, and the Fuocos made it a point to visit Dalaran several times a year after they retired.

...you do any work with SI:7. You'd likely know Senkha's older brother Ioan, at the very least, and lately know of Senkha as well (as he has a tendency to brag about her a lot).

History

Senkha is the youngest daughter of former Dalarani mages Kael and Rhianna Fuoco, immediately preceded by her twin sister Selvaggia. The twins' closest sibling is their brother Ioan, who is ten years older, so the girls were essentially their parents' only children after some time.

While Kael and Rhianna had high hopes for their youngest children, hoping that both girls would become mages as they were, but Senkha never really had any talent for magic, preferring more physical challenges. Selvaggia, on the other hand, was incredibly adept at pyromancy, and their parents intended for Selvaggia to begin studying in Dalaran after her sixteenth birthday.

Unfortunately, it was not meant to be. Shortly after the girls' fourteenth birthday, their brother Ioan returned home bearing a warning of the plague that was spreading its way through Lordaeron. Though Kael and Rhianna refused to heed his warnings, Ioan would not let his sisters fall victim to the plague, and returned later that same night to take them from their parents' home. A week later, Andorhal fell to the plague, and Kael and Rhianna Fuoco fell along with it.

For some time, the remaining Fuoco siblings traveled Azeroth, never staying long in one place, until they finally came to live in Theramore around the twins' sixteenth birthday. Selvaggia and Senkha worked as barmaids at the local tavern while training with any skilled mage or fighter who passed through in order to hone their skills. Senkha would have been content to live the rest of her life in Theramore, if she hadn't caught Selvaggia practicing some rather dark magic about nine months ago. The girls had a terrible argument, and Senkha left for Stormwind the next day, vowing to train there.
